Ethico provides an avenue for employees and/or others to report serious workplace concerns such as harassment or discrimination.
Reports may be created 24/7, 365 days a year. Once a report has been completed, all information is immediately forwarded to Liftoff for appropriate investigation, follow-up, and resolution.
YES. You can choose to remain completely anonymous, as the platform supports both anonymous submissions and anonymous follow-up communication.
The only information required is brief details about the concern, so that Liftoff may look into and address it as needed.
In some cases, however, it may be important to provide your identity for Liftoff to properly investigate the matter. Sharing your identity is always optional, but a full investigation may not always be possible without it.
If you would like to be contacted by Liftoff directly, you may provide your name, address, phone number, or e-mail. Otherwise, you will be able to find Liftoff’s responses by using your Report Number and password as outlined in question #4.
If you decide to include your name, Liftoff may reach out to you directly for additional context or clarification. Your identity will still be handled confidentially and only shared with those who need to be involved in addressing and resolving the issue.
To follow-up on a report you have already submitted, Click on the ‘Follow-Up Report’ button found on the homepage. Enter your Report Number and password, then click ‘Next’. If a resolution has been provided by Liftoff, it will be available. The Report Number was provided when you generated your report.
Unfortunately, if you have lost or forgotten your Report Number, you will need to begin a New Report. For security and confidentiality reasons, we are not able to retrieve lost Report Numbers.
You’ll always hear back from Liftoff, but the timing depends on how urgent your concern is:
These timeframes are for initial responses, and the time it takes to fully resolve your concern may be longer depending on the situation.
No. Reporting serious concerns in good faith is important and will not have negative effects.
If an employee is suspected of having intentionally submitted false or malicious reports, disciplinary action may be taken against them following an appropriate investigation.
Once a report is submitted, a designated HR team member will review the information, assess risk and urgency, and initiate an investigation, if appropriate. The process could include interviews, data reviews, and may involve legal counsel as needed.
The platform is managed by Ethico and reports are sent to a dashboard managed by Liftoff. Internal employees will only be involved on a strict need-to-know basis where appropriate.
Kristin Seuell (VP People), Tarek Kutrieh (President & CFO) and Susan Hansen (General Counsel) have full visibility into incoming reports. There is a ‘negative mention’ protocol in place to ensure that they will not see a report that names them.
Ethico utilizes the latest in 128-bit encryption technology. No data mining or off-site web hosting is used and IP addresses are not tracked. All of your report information is kept in our highly secured facility.
